Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have tried every recommendation to overcome this problem of installing major winfows 10 update on this laptop. As with other systems that only have a 32 GB SSD, there is no way to delete enough apps to open up space. The pc is obsolete shortly after receiving. Hiw sad that neither HP nor Microsoft give a darn. Especially since MS Defender won't be functinal if major updates aren't implementd.

Perhaps it is time for Linux.

Yes, a fresh install would wipe out everything leaving only windows 10.

@admannc

Make an installation usb using the free Media Creation Tool. At least an 8gb flash drive required. Click "Download tool now"- and Run it. Select Create installation media for another PC.

Some have reported success with plugging it in, opening the flash drive and running Setup.exe to update. If that doesn't work you can always just boot from the flash drive and install Windows 10  fresh-you will have latest version and probably more free space.

I tried the USB update option but not booting from the USB and re-installing  WIN 10. Will a fresh Install wipe out my apps and files?  If not I will try that.

Thanks.  Admannc
