Hi,
I posted here about my laptop not being able to boot, repar or re format wimdows 10 though its on my c drive when i go to command promt.
Mb cpu & dh are good according to the on bord check.
A nice person here, a hp adivce vet, said i should down load the dedicated re writer from hp on to a 32 mb usb & reformat windows 10.
I downloaded the prog to a 64 mb usb stick
I just tried to use it today and got this message
[13:13:81] [startnet] error, get failure from dynamic recovery tool
It took 8 hours to down load as crappy windows decided to update my pc in the background without me knowing (W11 ) GAAAAAAAAATTTTTEEEEES
Anyway, it looks like the file i dl might be corrupted.
Seems strange that the pc, the 16gb usb recovary & now the 32gb expert hp recovery wont re load windows 10.
Any advice to turn this door stop back into a lap top would be appreciated.
Ps the replacement was not a hp, sorry hp but u r on the naughty list, no soup for u.
I like hp just not atm
