Pavilion Notebook warranty out of date. Tried to copy photos from SD card but card reader not working. I may have deleted the link in File Explorer by mistake by deleting the Local Disk E icon that used to appear. Tried updating drivers but HP say they are all okay. I have used USB to transfer photos from camera SD card but would like to restore card reader facility.

Thank you for responding so quickly. I have tried to access the system via msinfo32 and eventually got there. I may not be on the laptop for a while but I do appreciate your assistance. Hope this info is of some help.
