I have been knocking myself out trying to figure out how to change the boot order so that on boot up it takes me to the the DVD RECOVERY DISK.  I am using Acronis.  I have talked to a number of techs. and I am not getting anywhere.  I am going to paste a recommendation given to me and please let me know if this is correct.  Also I can get so far in this process  then I can't go any further.         -insert the Acronis Bootable Media DVD

                                                                            -boot the computer in BIOS/UEFI

                                                                            -disable secure boot (enabling legacy boot) from UEFI / BIOS

                                                                            -set the boot priority to DVD

                                                                            -reboot the computer from the Acronis Bootable Media USB

When I get to the line in these instructions (021) to type in the code there is no place to type.    Thanks to anyone that can help.     Dwain

@Dwain1

Sorry, but since this is just a self-help Support Community staffed mostly by volunteers, we have no capability for debugging problems with third-party (i.e., non-HP) applications.

For help with Acronis issues, you have to contact the vendor of the application or their support forum.

I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
