Product: Pavilion 690-0010
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Would like to speak to Edmund.    Third party back up and recovery program and I have made a recovery disk.  Problem is I don't know how to completely navigate thru the BIOS to made it recognize the recovery disk.  The following has been given to me but I don't know if it is correct, please help.       

 
-insert the Acronis Bootable Media DVD
-boot the computer in BIOS/UEFI
-disble secure boot (enabling legacy boot)from UEFI / BIOS
-set the boot priority to DVD
-reboot the computer from the Acronis Bootable Media USB

We don't have phone access here so asking to speak to someone is waste of time.

 

Also, Sorry, but since this is just a self-help Support Community staffed mostly by volunteers, we have no capability for debugging problems with third-party (i.e., non-HP) applications.

For help with Acronis issues, you have to contact the vendor of the application or their support forum.
