I have recently got an 27fw monitor to use with a macbook air. The main reason for getting it was for photogrpahy and whilst I can change contrast and brightness on the monitor and on the laptop can sort the white balance, I cannot find a way of changing saturation. At the moment everything is a bit oversaturated on the monitor.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
HP monitors are not supported in a Mac environment. However, newer Macs use graphics with VESA modes and can display to most HP LCD monitors. The monitor should operate at 60Hz. The INF and software for the HP monitor are for Microsoft Windows and cannot be run in a standard MAC OS environment.
However, you can change the display settings from the monitor display menu.
Please refer to the below user guide to change the settings.
