Hello, i am writing this post because my hp notebook is not charging when its on. It is charging only if i turn my laptop off. Well since then i have tried every posted solution here. I did "Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery" & uninstall and it didn't change anything. I did a component test for the battery and it passed. I did component test to the AC charger and it failed with the failure ID: PGFSXG-8Q99SK-XD7URG-C19T03. So i checked the charger for cracks or stuff like that and it is ok. I tried to charge the laptop with another's hp laptop the charger and the problem stayed the same. When the laptop is on and i plug the charger the LED battery light turns on(White), when i turn off the laptop the LED battery light becomes amber and the laptop is charging, and when i turn it on again the LED light becomes White again and the laptop is not charging. Please somebody help me.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that laptop battery is not charging when the computer is powered on.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check if it helps.

Hello Mr. @The_Fossette
First of all thank you for your reply and your help but it didn't work. There are 2 things that I haven't try yet.
1) I haven't rollback the BIOS to f.10.
2) I haven't change the battery and the ac adaptor with another laptop (same as mine). (I have only tried to change the ac adaptor but it didn't work)
Do you think that anything of these 2 could help? If you have anything else in mind that it could help I am ready to try it.
Hope to hear from you soon
Thank you for your help.

I recommend you try using an alternate adapter and check. Based on my experience most of the time it's the charger that causes this issue and replacing the charger fixes the issue most of the time.
