Product: HP Chromebook 14 G5
Operating System: Chrome OS

Hello, 

 

We have several HP Chromebook 14 G5 in our school. Lately we have noticed that they are no longer updating they get stuck on Google Chrome OS 98. When we attempt to check for updates the Chromebooks says "Your Chromebook is up to date". According to Google this model they should receive updates until June 2024. We have other models HP Chromebook 14A G5, Lenovo and those are updating correctly to Version 104. Anyone encountering this issue with this model specifically.

We have tried all those methods and still does not update. They wont pass Chrome OS 98.

It could be an ChromeOS (operating system) error. Please contact the hardware manufacturer, in this case HP:
