Hp Envy x360 13"
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So recently, I've been realising that when using any website or application, my screen starts to flash black and almost freeze. So i decided to look further into the issue and i open the task manager, to find chrome using 744mbs, however it is shown that it 744mb is 79% of my memory. How can this happen even though i have 8gb of RAM? This also sometimes happens to my cpu, but less regularly than it does memory.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

To get the answer to this question, Chrome OS really doesn't require that much ram and RAM is active memory for running applications.
To view Memory, CPU, and Network Usage: Click the menu button, point to “More Tools”, and then select the “Task Manager” option. The task manager shows you how much ram is used ( Check task manager with shift + ESC ) Shift-Esc will open a Task Manager window, which will show in detail what resources each process is using.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
