x360
Chrome OS

Hi All,

I purchased a Chromebook x360 for my daughter for Christmas and after setting it up I noticed that if you touch right top corner and the cursor appears in the bottom left. Completely backward mirror. I already reset the machine to its original status and same thing. checked and it has the latest updates.  I have read other forums and with this particular model, a lot of people are experiencing this issue.  HP - is this a known bug with the x360?  I have 4 ChromeBooks at home, and the HP x360 is the only one that does this.  The touch screen on the others work as expected.

I understand that the Chromebook X360 Touchscreen Upside down.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Try resetting the Chromebook to factory settings following the steps recommended below.

Sign out of your Chromebook.
Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + r.
Click Restart.
In the box that appears, click Reset and sign in with your Google Account.
Note: The account you sign in with after you reset your Chromebook will be the owner account.
Follow the steps that appear.
Once you've reset your Chromebook:
Set up your Chromebook again
Check if the problem is fixed

Lastly, try performing a recovery on the Chromebook.
