HP Chromebook x360 14a-ca0000 (446M9AV)

My mother's Chromebook x360 model 14a-ca0130wm was operating fine last night and even charged fully before she unplugged it. This morning when she tried to power it on the screen is black, it will not power on at all even after attempting a hard reset. I have tried to even plug into my charger and still get no response. Is there anything that I can do to get it to power on?

This looks like a hardware issue. 

 

Perform the steps from this document. Select the last option (hardware issues).
