Product: HP Chromebook - 14-ak041dx
Operating System: Chrome OS

Chrome OS only updates manually.  The machine lists 'end of support' as September 2021.  I don't RECALL it ever telling me it needs a restart or any notification of an update.  Only if I manually check.  Been using it over a year.  Thought Chromebooks simply didn't.  Recently found out it should.

Google Chrome OS
Version 85.0.4183.84 (Official Build) (64-bit)
 
help and/or comments appreciated in advance.

We're not a Google shop; we have no way to diagnose or fix Chrome OS issues -- sorry.

 

You will need to contact Google Support to see if there are ANY options for support, now that they have claimed that support has ended.
