My son did something to my chromebook. So I did factory reset and after I sign in to a network it goes to screen that says "CHECKING FOR UPDATES" Future software and security updates will install automatically....
The blue line moves across screen like its loading. I cant get off this screen or continue.... PLEASE HELP

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the Chromebook.
Remove any USB drives, headphones, or other external devices.
Please try a hard reset -
- Turn off your Chromebook.
- Press and hold Refresh
+ tap Power
.
- When your Chromebook starts up, release Refresh
.
