Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have new HP envy x360 with 512 GB Intel +32GB Intel Optane memory.

I want to wipe out and do clean Win 10 install.

Before install, I did disable  intel Optane and disable security boot in Bios.

The Windows 10 load and at not find Intel SSD drivers.

I have no ideas why , but not sure where to download  and correct drives for Intel SSD and Optane?

Please someone can help. Thank you.

I got the clean win 10 install. You need to download the drive from Intel Download Intel® Rapid Storage Technology Driver Installation Software with Intel® Optane™ Memory.

Plug in boot win 10 install usb  and usb contain Intel drivers.

At the point ( blank partition ), choose drives from USB with intel drivers.

It will detected the Intel SSD Optane.

I wish HP need to update BIOS or Microsoft update intel drivers on Win 10 boot to solve the issue.

Still not sure about third parties software back up image and create boot disk.

After loading windows, try to check the Windows update center or use HP Cloud Recovery Tool.

There is an issue with the Intel optane driver. I'm working on the boot disc. I will let you know if it works.

I have almost the same problem. I bought a new HP Pavilion x360 with ssd only drive. I got a new 512 gb PCIE NVME SSD but it will not show up in Windows installation. I have successfully installed ubuntu on the same ssd using the same laptop and I have installed windows on this ssd with another laptop. I think HP needs to help us here
