Hi HP community,
I have bought s new hp laptop which is kind of a low cost one around 400$.But it great for a guy like me. The laptop is a 4gb intel celeron processor with 500 hdd. It canpme with pre installed win 10 home single language. But win 10 home sucks. So i want to reinstall a new win 10 version may be pro or enterprise.i have a bootable sd card which i used for reinstalling earlier. So what should be the correct methods for installing it.What should be the correct boot sequence order.
Thanks,

Hi,
No, it won't activate UNKESS you pay Microsoft.to get Windows 10 upgrade. I don't think it will boot from SD card. You can do a clean install W10 for free by using the media creation tool at the link below.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
The tool will allow you to make a bootable installation media (USB/DVD) and you can use installation media to install.
And after that, you have to pay money to Microsoft to get upgrade to Windows 10 Pro or Enteprise.
With Intel Celeron processor and with only 4GB of RAM, it could not run Windows 10 home as you said; how can it run Windows 10 Pro better ?
Regards.

No need to clean install anything. All you have to do is enter the license key for the upgraded version to magically unlock features.
