HP Elitebook 8470P
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Product: HP Elitebook 8470P
OS: Win7 Pro SP1

I'm trying throug different paths to get the OS to do a clean install, no data to keep.
As this is a manufacturer preinstalled OS I have no CD/DVD to go through this.
I have a Win7 product key written down and maybe it's also stored in my motherboard or bios.
Failed attemps:
-Windows Media Creation Tool
-HP Recovery (it's not available to download in support pages)

How to get HP official recovery tool for my PC? Will it work with a CD/DVD, Windows product key only recovery?

Now thinking about getting the ISO of the OS via HeiDoc tools downloader or coming up with some suggestion from this community.

Is HeiDoc a good idea? Wich exact OS ISO should I download? Windows7 or Windows7 (august 2018)?

Any other way to get things donde?

@DMManual

Sorry to provide discouraging info, but HP stopped carrying Win7 Recovery Media some time ago.

So, another site you should check is: http://www.computersurgeons.com/

Before using the media, read through this: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00006110

Hi, @DMManual

Yes, the Heidoc site is good to use if they have the version of W7 you need.

Somehow they access the Microsoft Techbench Windows ISO files, so they are genuine.

The other thing you can try is to call HP support in Spain for business-class PC's, and see if they still have recovery media available.

I have these old phone numbers...you can see if any of them still work...
