The date is working properly but the clock is not working properly. I changed the battery and I updated the windows but every time I leave the laptop without using it or shutdown or put it on sleep the clock froze and stuck with the old time.

Perform a power reset on the notebook. Refer to this document HP Notebook PCs - How to Power Reset your Laptop​ for help.

 

Also, update the BIOS.

Use HP Support Assistant Updates - 

 

1) In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant. 

2) Check for updates. 

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
