Hello I cloned my 225 gb ssd to a new Wd sata 2tb ssd and then installed the cloned larger drive. It seems to have made an exact clone of the 225 ssd the extra storage seems unaccessible. When I check the cloning software. I used it has the extra storage empty and gray. Ill attach a picture of it. Thank you for any help.

You cloned 255GB to 2TB HDD that mean the process ONLY use 255GB on new drive, the rest is empty. You can assign that spare place to other new drive or drives,
Regards.

Hi, @Astrobrain
You can use the free AOEMI partition software to merge your cloned partition into the unallocated space.
AOMEI Partition Assistant - A Safe Partition Manager for Windows PC and Server (aomeitech.com)
I had the same thing happen to me when I cloned a 250 GB installation to a 500 GB SSD.
The AOEMI software worked like a charm.
Naturally, you can format the unallocated space,as Banhien wrote, give it a different drive letter, and use it for storage, but I just wanted one large partition.
The Windows disk management utility will not let you extend or merge non-adjacent partitions, but the AOEMI software will.

Hi, Neil:
I just opened the software on the PC I had used it on to merge the partitions, and under the all tools section, there is a Merge Partitions option.
But now I see that feature requires you to pay for the software.
I was able to do it for free when I did it 6 or 7 months ago.
See if you can use this free software instead.
According to the website you can move, merge, resize partitions for free.
