HP Pavilion x360 - 14t-ba000 CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone, I had to install a new hard drive on my laptop.  I installed the latest Windows 10 and then tried downloading the drivers from the support website, but the driver installation fails.

I was hoping to use the Cloud Recovery Tool to create a bootable recovery drive, but it doesn't accept the laptop's product ID.

Anyone have any ideas on what the best way to recover the laptop would be?

Thank you.

Hi:

I don't see that you have any option but to clean install W10 since the HP cloud recovery tool isn't supported for your notebook.

I checked too and it is not.

What issues are you having with installing drivers?

I see that there a lot of different drivers because the model series can come with different processors and whatnot.

After you reinstall W10, post a list of the devices that you can't find drivers for and the hardware ID's for the devices.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device:

How to Find Drivers for Unknown Devices in the Device Manager (howtogeek.com)

If push comes to shove, you can order a recovery kit from this vendor at the link below:
