Compaq nc6400
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello.  My Compaq nc6400 has 4Gb ram and a Intel core duo T2400 processor. I have been able to install and use Win10 ver 1709 which works with the internal wireless card.  However, the laptop is now continually trying to update to Win 10 ver 1803 or 1809 and repeatedly fails, so my wireless is continually in use!

Has anyone managed to install Win 10 ver. 1803 or should I disable updates?

Hi:

I would disable the updates.

I did upgrade my nc6400 to v1803, and it worked fine, but it failed to update to v1809.

You may as well quit while you are ahead if yours is failing to update to either version.
