The ownership of the above machine has been transferred to me.
I wish to revert the laptop to the factory settings.
The recovery options are not accessible. Not by uising the recovery manager accessed through the Windows interface, via the F11 options or through the startup screen.
Windows 7 home premium came presistalled.
Is there a means of obtaining the installation discs?
The hard drive was replaced by the previous owner.
Thank you for any help.

HP no longer has any Windows 7 based recovery disks for consumer laptops. There is a 3rd party market for recovery disks.
That is not precisely your model but is AMD so the motherboard is the same as yours and would work. If you are a little more adventurous and tight-fisted, we can walk you through a "clean" recovery using an OEM Windows 7 install disk and the drivers found on this site.

Thank you.
I am unable to obtain the OEM disc from microsoft as the OS was preinstalled. It returns the instruction to contact the manufacturer.
Where do you suggest that I obtain the OEM Windows 7 install disk?
