Good morning, I changed the wifi card that came with the laptop (RTL8188CE) for another (RTL8188CEBT) from the AzureWave brand. When I turn on the laptop it shows “WIRELESS MODULE NOT COMPATIBLE” wlan module id (702) Hp pavilion g7 1320 windows 10. I want to know if something can be done to make it work. Thank you very much, I'm from Argentina

Good afternoon:

Your notebook has a BIOS whitelist which prevents the installation of any other model wifi adapter other than the one that came with your notebook from working.

The g7 model series had BIOS whitelists until the g7-22xx model series was introduced to market.

Your only option for Bluetooth or dual band Wi-Fi is via a USB Wi-Fi adapter.

I have this model which is both dual band AC and Bluetooth and is pretty small, so it won't stick out from the USB port too far.
