LATITUDE E7450
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I was charging my laptop and later when I came to use it, the computer was completely unresponsive. Seeing as the cord is was plugged into also seem fried ( light no longer comes on when plugged into wall) I assumed there was some sort of surge . What makes it unusual is the fact that a working charger (light comes on when plugged into wall, charges other laptops) will immediately lose its light when plugged into this unresponsive laptop. I checked the port and there is no obvious hardware damage. Any ideas?

A Latitude is a Dell PC, not HP.  We do not support Dell PCs on this forum; you have to contact Dell for that.
