Hi,
I have a spectre x360 15" and yesterday it started running very hot. I've noticed its ran hot before but this time it became slow and sluggish in video editing software. I decided to log off and **bleep** down. Waited a short while and rebooted. When it rebooted it got to the windows log in screen and then crashed and automatically rebooted. Upon rebooting it can no longer load windows.
I have troubleshot the hardware via the bios menu tests if components and everything seems fine. The problem seems to be specifically with windows. Unfortunately none of the options to reset windows from the blue menu are able to work either and they just fail.
I am fairly technically competent and have built my own PCs in the past. I have followed the advice given by the online automatic web helper and none of the solutions work. It seems my only viable option would be to complete a full reinstall of windows via a USB boot disk but I don't really want to have to to that without knowing I have no better options or before I have sought technical support from HP.
For the record I have owned this laptop since about February so its practically brand new. I use it for some video and photo editing and some games but nothing beyond its capabilities. Everything is kept up to date.
The problem definitely seemed to have been caused by its overheating and then that caused a crash which seems to have damaged windows preventing it from booting anymore.
The computer became incredibly hot to touch, even the keys and fingerprint scanner were very hot to touch before it crashed, I was about to shut it down again but unfortunately didn't get the chance before it crashed.
Any advice please?
I'm in the UK.

@Benja2802 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that the Computer overheated and now Windows won't boot.
As you have stated that you have performed the component test.
In that case, I would suggest you perform the recovery and check.
