Hi @Hernandez_coxox

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I acknowledge the situation—your computer is showing “Automatic Repair” and has been stuck in a loop for several hours. Let’s go through steps to move forward positively:

Step 1: Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Power off the computer completely by holding the Power button until it shuts down.
  2. Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.).
  3. Remove the power adapter and, if applicable, the battery.
  4. Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds.
  5. Reconnect the power adapter (and battery if removable), then power on the computer.

Step 2: Access HP UEFI Hardware Diagnostics

  1. Turn on the computer and immediately press the Esc key repeatedly.
  2. When the Startup Menu appears, press F2 to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
  3. Run the System Tests (Quick Test first, then Extended Test if needed).
    • If any hardware issue is detected, note the failure ID.

Step 3: Use Advanced Startup Options

  1. Restart the computer and press Esc repeatedly, then press F11 for System Recovery.
  2. In the recovery environment, select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Repair.
  3. If Startup Repair does not resolve the issue, return to Advanced Options and select System Restore to roll back to a previous restore point.

Step 4: Reset the PC if Needed

  1. From Advanced Options, choose Reset this PC.
  2. Select Keep my files to reinstall Windows while preserving personal data.
  3. Follow the on‑screen instructions to complete the reset.

For complete guidance, please refer to HP’s official support documentation:
HP PCs – Troubleshooting Startup Problems (Windows 11, 10)

These steps are designed to help the computer recover smoothly.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
