HP Notebook - 15-f272wm (ENERGY STAR)

My laptop will not boot after a windows update. I have tried everything and nothing works. When I test the memory I get this code: QC6GXQ-8LWBH3-MFPUQ1-405J03 & memory module. How can I fix this?

Hi:

Please complete the info required in the link below and let me know what it reports.

You will probably need to replace the memory module.

When I put in the code it said the memory module needed to be replaced.

The memory module has been replaced and my laptop still says no bootable device found. I ran a memory and hardware test to check for errors and both test passed. I can't figure out why my laptop won't start.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to would be to reinstall W10.

Reinstall W10 by making bootable installation media with the Media creation tool at the link below.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

If you need to recover files from the notebook, when you get to the screen that asks, 'Where do you want to install Windows,' let it install over the existing Windows partition and it will create a Windows.old folder.

After W10 has installed, you can explore the Windows.old folder, find you old user profile and copy and paste the user folders from the old profile to your new one.
