Hi @Brayden16

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

That’s frustrating, especially since you’ve barely used the laptop. The error usually means your system isn’t detecting the operating system, either due to a corrupted boot sector or a hardware issue.

Here are a few steps to try:

Check BIOS Settings

  • Restart your laptop and press F10 (or Esc + F10) to enter BIOS.
  • Navigate to Boot Options and ensure your hard drive is listed as the primary boot device.
  • If it’s missing, your hard drive might not be properly connected or could be failing.

Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

  • Turn off the laptop and press Esc repeatedly while turning it on.
  • Select F2 > System Tests > Hard Drive Test to check for errors.

Recover the BIOS

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Hold Windows + B while pressing the power button for a few seconds.
  • If the BIOS recovery screen appears, follow the instructions to restore settings.

Try Booting from a Windows Recovery Drive

  • If you have access to another computer, create a Windows 11 bootable USB using the Microsoft Media Creation Tool.
  • Plug it into your laptop, restart, and boot from the USB to attempt a repair.

If your hard drive isn’t detected in BIOS or fails the diagnostics, it might need replacement. Let me know what happens!
