Have I just spent $2k on a laptop I didn't order?
I bought a HP Pavilion Plus Laptop 16-0008TX. I received a HP Pavilion Plus Laptop 16-0000.
Made my purchase 8 days ago (2nd May).
Is anyone getting paid enough at HP to help correct this wrong?

The second image shows your machine is an HP Pavilion Laptop PC 16-ab0008TX (model) and the first says it is a member of the HP Pavilion Laptop PC 16-ab0000 series (or family).
The model shows its specs and the series may have 5, 10, 20 or more machines which share many same parts but different configurations or combinations.
Your machine should have parts on the following list

Hope this makes sense.
Regards.

Again, NONE of them is 16-0008TX.
ONLY HP Pavilion Plus Laptop 16-ab0xxxTX or HP Pavilion Plus Laptop 16-ab0xxxTU
Again. HP has models with nn-aannnnzz where
nn = size 11, 13, 14, 15, 16 or 17 (in this case 16 for 16"machines)
aa = aa to zz (in this case ab)
nnnn = 0000 to 9999 (in this case 0008)
zz = country code or region code for Australia and Asia Pacific Region zz could be TX or TU or AU (in this case TX)
Again HP does NOT have machine with 16-??0008TX. (missing ??)
Regards.
