I keep getting a blue screen advising My device has run into a problem and needs to restart and laptop keeping looping through this whilst the battery charger is plugged in.  I have purchased a new charger but the problem persists.  The laptop turns on fine when the charger is not plugged in.  I have reloaded windows 10 again but issue reoccurs as soon as the charger is plugged in.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what is happening with my machine?

thanks in advance!!

Please try the following steps first

Laptop restarting when plugged into charger

Hi-tried all three power suggestions and issue still occurring-without the charger plugged in the power troubleshooter found no issue, all power drivers up yo date and new power plan made no difference-plugged the charger back in and back to the blue screen error message.  Laptop works when charger is not plugged in and charges when turned off-just will not work when charger is plugged it in
