HP Pavilion dv6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After multiple tries, I still cannot get my system to accept Win 10 update for Ver 1903. ALWAYS returns message one or more system components could not be configured, click to restart the installation, AND gives me ERROR CODE 0xc1900101, which I am told equates to a driver problem

I have run sys diagnostics, I have purchased addl software to scan OS for problems,  have already had a 3d party tech support company  remotely access system and they say that the update should now install just fine as  they found no errors.

I have checked drivers, added drivers, deleted old drivers,  removed all USB attached devices, and have been at this for 4 months with no success.Anyone out there experiencing the same? Is this a MS win 10 problem or do they just want us all to buy a new computer?

Already paid $200 for all of the above yet the computer will not update to 1903 BUT all other updates install FINE

Another company now wants $200 more to completely analyze every aspect of my win 10, as was upgraded from Win7

Microsoft says they will do it for $100 but I now feel it better just to purchase new and get the 1903 that way. This is an older system but I love this laptop
