@CSU,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details and I would appreciate if you could, perhaps elaborate on your concern.
- What is the exact model for your computer?
- What is the exact issue you are facing?
- Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
- Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?
Look forward to hearing from you and you have a great day!
Take care.
Cheers!

Thank you for your reply. My answers to your questions:
- HP Omen 17-AN001CA 17-7700HQ (1UG&UA#AB)
- When pressing CNTRL + Home there is no response.
- Software was auto-updated by Windows, bios was updated after purchase, and Omen control was reinstalled
- Tried a variety of things suggested on this site.
BTW, the omen control centre does not allow me to change keyboard lights. The original software that was present and promised control of that feature was not working and is no longer resident on the laptop as I followed advice to replay it!
Thank you,

@CSU,
I recommend you uninstall the Omen command center from the computer and then download and install it from Microsoft store and check whether the issue is resolved.
Here is how it is done.
- Open the Start menu.
- Click Settings.
- Click System on the Settings menu.
- Select Apps & features from the left pane.
- Select an app you wish to uninstall.
- Click the Uninstall button that appears. If it is grayed out, this is a system app you cannot remove.
- Click the Uninstall pop-up button to confirm.
If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!
Cheers!

Thanks for your explicit instructions. I followed them, but had no success. I am not certain that I have the correct Omen Command app. The original one allowed me to see the keyboard and and make changes to it that did not work. The version that I just reinstalled does not have that feature (!?!?). Perhaps you have another suggestion. Thank you,
