Anytime, Zhao.

Let me know if you need any help with drivers after you get W10 to install.

    Hello Paul:

I am looking for you again.

I follow your idea to download and install the CDBunerXP.(on a w10 pc). And then burned one DVD.

Then go to boot the old machine with this New DVD, It:

Only appared a w10 brand mark blue window   and then stopped.

I checked the DVD's setup.exe, it says: "Setup is not a valid win32 application"

Could you tell why it doesn' t work?                      --Zhao

Hi:

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know why it won't boot from the W10 DVD.

When it boots, it should take a while and then the blue Windows icon shows up.

Then it should begin to load files.

You cannot run the file from the 32 bit desktop, which is why it won't open from there.

     Hello Paul:

You said: "You cannot run the file from the 32 bit desktop, which is why it won't open from there."

Do you mean: The both PCs manufactured the DVD disk and to use/run the  DVD must have the same

32-bit or 64-bit?

Hi:

What I am trying to say is that when you are exploring the setup file in XP, it won't open because it will only open on a PC with a 64 bit operating system.

The only way you can install W10 x64 on your notebook is to boot from the DVD and install it that way.

It will not autorun from the WXP 32 bit desktop.

And as I wrote before, if you are booting from the DVD and W10 isn't installing, unfortunately, I have no idea why it isn't.

      Hello Paul:

Eventually I installed the w10 x64 into my old machine. So far I did not see any abnormal,

including the audio and wifi.

The troubles now is that many functions are seemed locked, can't work. It appears MS will charge customers

by purchasing the KEY.

You did help me so much during this installing.  Appreciate you from my heart.       --Zhao

You're most welcome, Zhao.

Well, at least you have confirmation that the hardware works on W10, so there is less risk in buying a W10 license now.

You should also be able to transfer that key to another PC as long as you remove W10 from the PC it is on now.
