My Stream notebook died and I need to make a recovery on a mini SD, apparently no larger than 32GB, that I can hopefully, recover the heretofore unused device. I need to make the recovery using my MacBook Air and need instructions. The instructions I found at HP.com were only using the notebook to make it and I cannot do that, obviously.

Thanks, Paul. Why must it be a Windows PC? I could use one at the library, I suppose.
I need step-by-step instructions, please, on how to do this, a link to a download is what I'm hoping for. And then I am hoping that when I transfer the newly downloaded 32 GB mini SD card with the boot-up on it that the Stream will automatically start from it when I press the power button. It was working fine until I stuck a 64 GB SD card in it and then turned it on. There was nothing on the card and I'd hoped it would give me the storage capacity the darn notebook needs to operate. It only came with 32 GB which is nearly completely used up with the operating system (Windows 10). It might as well be a paper weight, new from the factory. I'd turn it into a Linux if Microsoft hadn't disallowed that with Windows 10. Apple reigns supreme!
thanks!

You're very welcome.
The cloud recovery tool won't run on any other operating system. Neither does the W10 media creation tool from Microsoft.
You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive. The notebook won't boot from a SD drive.
Here is an info link that has all of the instruction, plus the download link to create the 32 GB USB recovery drive.

There is also a video to watch within the link if you prefer.
