I have been trying to create a BIOS recovery USB drive for hours now but I have been encountering an issue after downloading the necessary BIOS update files from the help and support section. The BIOS update files I have downloaded are for the HP 603 Notebook PC and is the latest version. The version is sp64612 , HP Notebook System BIOS Update F.39 Rev.A Dec 13, 2019.
After extraction of the files and running it shows two errors:
1. IHISI: Get support mode fail in SMI
2. BIOS did not support InsydeFlash
After that it stops and does not proceed to the step by step wizard and this is where I am stuck at the moment. There are no solutions online for this problem.
I am using another notebook to create this recovery USB. Its a hp probook 650 g1 (energy star) and runs on windows 10 pro.
