Hello

Sorry if my english is poor -I try my best

I hope to be in the right question area.

I have a recent notebook HP15-bs080 nf, with W10.

All is working well.

but the specific  DC converter for this HP notebook is  quite out of order and the final connector to laptop  is  broken

Up to now , I had   DC converters with, on the output wire ,  a  muli connectors plug to connect to my other different laptops

All these  have two contats  (one for the positive and one for the negative-output is around 19.5- 19.9 V

for the HP, analyzing the output HP connector cable, I see 3 wires : blue, white, black

and it seems to me that there are  on the connector 2 slightly  different voltage

external (-) to internal central pin(+):19.9V

external (-) to internal metal circumference(+):18.6V

I wonder if I can use my traditional DC converter with the 2  outlets (+, -) and a new spare DC connector of same size available on internet .

Thank you for for answers

Hi! @ZOUIZOUI42, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand the charging (DC) port on your laptop is broken and you need a replacement part number for the DC port.

Don't worry I'll to help you out.

Did you make any software or hardware changes on your laptop?

Have you tried charging your laptop using a different adapter?

As you mentioned the charging (DC) port on your laptop is broken and you need a replacement part number for the DC port.

Replace the power connector on your PC to fix the charging port issues on your laptop.

I have checked the laptop specifications, please find the power connector part number listed below.

Power connector cable 931613-001

Refer the laptop user guide for more information. Link: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257
