I have an HP ENVY 16t-h0000 and I used the HP Cloud Recovery Tool about 4 times over software issues at the beginning, the second use was absolutely fine and everything worked just like how I wanted it to untill the 3rd reinstallation due to issues with a windows 11 update that caused certain apps to crash. Anyhow that's not important anymore I figured that out but after the 3rd reinstall it seemed like it did something to my BIOS and renamed it or.. something? It did something to the DMI Information apparently which renamed the computer in the BIOS causing it's specific driver to be renamed as well as in HP Support Assistant (local for some reason) and the product name within the windows information. Everything just says HP ENVY 16t-h0xxx instead of HP ENVY 16 inch Laptop PC 16-h0000 (534C5AV) like everything used to, and to make matters worse, this issue I think might even be messing with specific HP software and making some of it not work properly or even just not even try to install thinking it's a foreign computer. I think my DMI Information might need to be reprogrammed or something 😞
