Hi everyone,

I have a client's laptop that the main system has failed.  No way to power on the laptop at all.  The drive is an Intel Optane H10 512GB.  Is there any workaround for recovering the data on the drive without the original hardware?  My first assumption is that the motherboard is the issue so even if we were to replace the mobo we wouldn't be able to access the data anyway.

With no ability to power on the laptop the simplest way to recover data from the NVMe drive would be to remove it and put it in an external NVMe enclosure. Then you could connect it to another laptop/desktop as an external drive and recover the data required (assuming that there is no damage to the NVMe drive).

*If your client's laptop is under warranty though, removing the NVMe drive to recover data may invalidate the warranty.
