I was trying to change my chromebook operative system to Linux Nobara. Here are the first two steps I followed:
- Press Esc + Refresh + Power to enter Recovery Mode
- Press Ctrl + D
At this Point, there is a screen saying "To turn OS verification OFF, press ENTER.
Your system will reboot and local data will be cleared."
What should happen now is that if I press enter, the chromebook should reboot, clear local data and be transitioning into Developer Mode, just as everybody else's chromebook in the tutorials i've seen.
But what happens to my chromebook instead, is that when I press Enter ,2 beeps sound, and nothing happens on the screen; So I press the Power key to see if something happens when the chromebook boots up, and I don't see nothing new 😕 , please help.
