HP Recommended

I got an HP EliteBook 840 G7 Notebook PC from a friend in the US (I'm in Liberia, Africa). Been using it for couple of days. When I tried to login into my Microsoft account the laptop froze immediately. I switched it off. When I switched it back on to my surprise 'every thing is dead!' The desktop screen stares back at me unblinkingly and totally unresponsive. Can't open on access anything that displayed on the screen.

 

In setup mode I'm asked for BIOS Administrator Password. Don't have access to it, neither my friend in the US. Any help?
