I paid a new notebook recently, I would like to know the default password to access to the BIOS.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

HP computers does not have a default password and BIOS does not come locked by HP.

This is an old model and I suppose you may have purchased it second hand / refurbished or from some 3rd party person. Additionally, if new, somebody may have placed such a password on your PC to protect something (settings, data, etc).

Basically, you will have to  contact HP Business Support  for assistance on removing the password.
