Hp Stream Laptop 14
My 12 yr old was trying to make room for updates I suppose and deleted the operating system.I have ran all tests, everything is fine. One min this laptop was working next thing I know there is a screen saying
* Boot device not found
Please install operating system on hard disk
(3F0)
I ran the diagnostic, both are fine. I have went to the BIOS menu changed boot settings every way. I tried Recover System . Nothing.
When I take a empty Flash drive to a new computer to download Windows 10. Before it will finalize it will say " this computer needs 8g of space " blah blah and will not finalized. Please help. Willing to purchase something of I have to. Thanks in advance

Hi:
I recommend you clean install W10 by making a bootable USB installation flash drive using the media creation tool from the link below.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
When you get to the part of the installation that asks 'Where do you want to install Windows,' delete every partition on the hard drive leaving just one partition of unallocated space.
Click Next, and W10 should install.
After the installation has completed, you can install the drivers and available software from the notebook's support page.
