After resetting my laptop as it was so slow etc, it seems to be working ok, but in Devices my Laptop has a yellow exclamation mark and it relates to driver not available???? with this explanation Device ACPI\ASD0001\2&daba3ff&0 requires further installation. I have done recent Windows Update, did not resolve, tried to uninstall it in devices as under other devices, then rebooted, but exclamation mark still there and still under other devices? tried HP support but no luck there, anyone got a suggestion what to try next or do i just leave it alone?????

Hi:
I have zipped up and attached the driver you need below.
Download and unzip the file to its folder. Do not do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to the device manager, click on the ASD device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab, click on update driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.
Make sure that the include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
Then restart the PC.

Thank you, I did find an earlier reply for the same problem back in 2017 , so I downloaded that file with the driver from that reply and hey presto- Yellow exclamation mark gone and the ACPI drivers are in the System Devices and no Other devices showing, computer seems a lot faster now. Should I download your file also and do it again or will the 2017 drivers continue to work ok on my system. Thanks again, I've been trying for weeks to sort this out, with HP Support/Windows Support but didn't get anywhere until now. I assume when i reset my laptop in the past these drivers got lost? If I reset it again I will look out for this problem.
Thanks again.

You're very welcome.
If the driver you installed from my other post worked, then there would be no need to install the one I just attached.
But it may be newer than the one you installed from 6 years ago, so save the file I attached for use in the future.
