Via the Recovery tab, did a reset, retaining my personal files. Now the notebook has been restarting for two days. Is this normal? Thanks.

Replying to myself: After watching the "restarting" display for three days, I held down the power button to force shutdown. When I turned it back on, got the message "resetting your computer" and within 45 minutes, the process was complete.

I was hoping the process would, among other things, clean up my Recovery (D) drive which has a mere 5 MB of free space but it remains with same status.
