Hi @honcllor,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you're encountering difficulty finding the BIOS update for your HP 15.6 Inch Laptop PC. Let's troubleshoot this.
Firstly, BIOS updates are crucial for improving system performance and fixing issues like the cursor pointer speed problem you mentioned. However, sometimes finding the correct BIOS update can be tricky.
Here's what you can do:
- Double-check HP's official support website: Make sure you're visiting the correct support page for your laptop model. Sometimes, BIOS updates might be listed under a different section or category.
- Use HP Support Assistant: If you haven't already, download and install HP Support Assistant. This utility can automatically detect and install updates for your HP device, including BIOS updates.
- Ensure compatibility: Ensure that the BIOS update you're looking for is compatible with your specific laptop model and operating system version (Windows 11, 23h2).
- Consider alternative fixes: While BIOS updates can often resolve issues, there might be alternative solutions to your cursor pointer speed problem. For example, adjusting mouse settings in Windows or updating mouse drivers.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
