Hi

I was able to run the hard drive tests on my device. It seems that the Short DST Check has failed. I've checked further assistance using the Failure ID and Product ID which says that I may need my hard drive replaced. It also suggested that I backup my files.

However, how can I do that if I am unable to get into my laptop?

Please help 😭

Hi:

Unfortunately, you won't be able to back up your files if you can't get into Windows.

Install a new hard drive, and after you remove the failed drive, you may be able to read and copy any files you need to save by buying a SATA to USB cable.  Plug one end into the failed hard drive, and the other end into a working PC's USB port.

Something like this is what you need...

Amazon.com: StarTech.com SATA to USB Cable - USB 3.0 to 2.5” SATA III Hard Drive Adapter - External ...

Thank you so much for the assistance. I truly hope I'm able to work something out.
