If the notebook came with Windows from HP, see if your notebook is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool, which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with the PC.

 

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.

It's a shame that even if I wanted to buy them, the technical center said that there are no disk images on this machine. A complete disappointment, I lost all HP proprietary software including the energy saving one
