Windows installer only detects the USB installation drive (57GB) and does NOT detect the laptop’s internal SSD/NVMe drive at all.

DiskPart results:

  • Only Disk 0 appears (57GB USB)
  • Internal drive is completely missing from “list disk”

What's the full model number or product number of your notebook?

 

If it has an Intel 11th>13th gen core processor, you need to install the Intel RST controller drivers in order for Windows to find the drive.

 

If the drive is new and unformatted, that is why Diskpart cannot find it.
