Hi @Rohan_editz1_43,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Notebook 15 is showing the pen drive (USB) as a boot option, and you’d like to stop that. Let’s go through the steps to fix this.

1. Remove USB Drive

If a pen drive is plugged in, remove it before turning the laptop on.

Many HP laptops automatically try USB first if a bootable USB is inserted.

2. Check Boot Order in BIOS

Restart your notebook and immediately press Esc repeatedly, then press F10 to enter BIOS Setup.

Go to the System Configuration → Boot Options menu.

Under Boot Order (Boot Priority), make sure Internal Hard Drive / Windows Boot Manager is set as the first option.

Move USB Hard Drive or USB Diskette lower in the order (or disable it if the option exists).

3. Disable USB Boot (Optional)

In the same Boot Options menu, look for USB Boot.

Set it to Disabled if you never want to boot from pen drives.

4. Save and Exit BIOS

Press F10 to save changes.

Choose Yes and let the system restart.

5. Test Without USB

Shut down, remove any USB drives, and power back on.

The notebook should now boot straight into Windows without showing the pen drive option.

I hope this helps.
