Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

i bought this notebook, it came with windows 10, and i have installed windows 7 and windows 8,1 on it

but before do that and manually install every driver for this component ( not avaiable in the web )

i was wondering why i had too many troubles to do this, no drivers avaiable for w7 and w8, and setup installation failling, not detecting the kingston SSD

it came with HP HDD

does it have a restriction protection? i check everything in the bios

secure boot, legacy changes, TDM

and more

and always when i was trying to install windows, disk LOCKED and cant be installed.

i found the solution, but i was wondering why this happened? is an HP method to prevent steal or something like that?

the solution of what i did is not available on google, was done with my knowledge, maybe ill do a video in my youtube channel if someone needs.

The basic answer to your question is no -- HP does not establish the restrictions.

That said, Microsoft establishes requirements on OEMs that sell new PCs preloaded with Windows 10, and that is what you are running into.  Stuff like Secure Boot is an MS requirement, not HP.
