Product: Pavilion 17T-AB000 V3A33A
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I will soon be recieving a new HP 17t Laptop. It has OEM Windows 10 Pro (x64) installed and I want to downgrade it to Windows 8.1 Pro (x64) when I recieve it. Can anyone point me to another HP Laptop that does support 8.1 that has compatable hardware so I can use those drivers on my fresh install of Windows 8.1? Obviously I know BIOS updates and such will NOT be compatable, but I am just concerned with the rest... Thanks in advance.

Hi, Douglas:

 

The W8.1 drivers and software from the 15-ab000 should work on the 17t-ab000 (except the BIOS and firmware files).

 

The 15-ab000 is the 15.6" display size version of the 17t-ab000.
